I'm a public historian interested in the connections between urban, community and family histories. I'm passionate about making histories and records accessible to the public. My most recent foray into the public debate was at TEDxSydney 2013 when I spoke about futureproofing digital archives. I'm actively involved in the Dictionary of Sydney, www.dictionaryofsydney.org , an ambitious digital history project. I'm a budding twitterstorian but not a blogger (yet). I need more hours in a day. My motto is "Why Not?"
